निम्नलिखित निर्देशों को बहुत सावधानी से पढ़िए और उनका पालन कीजिए :
(i) इस प्रश्न-पत्र में दो खंड हैं - खंड-‘अ’ और ‘ब’ । कुल प्रश्न 13 हैं ।
- खंड-‘अ’ में 45 बहुविकल्पी/वस्तुपरक उपप्रश्न पूछे गए हैं, जिनमें से केवल 40 उपप्रश्नों के उत्तर देने हैं ।
- खंड-‘ब’ में वर्णनात्मक प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं। प्रश्नों के उचित आंतरिक विकल्प दिए गए हैं।
- प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए गए निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए दीजिए।
- दोनों खंडों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर देना अनिवार्य है।
- यथासंभव दोनों खंडों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर क्रमशः लिखिए।

भारतीय संस्कृति और दर्शन किसी देश या जाति के लिए नहीं, अपितु समस्त मानव जाति के कल्याण के लिए है। अत: भारतीय संस्कृति को सच्चे अर्थ में मानवता की संस्कृति कहा जा सकता है। योग हमें वैज्ञानिकता के साथ समग्र जीवन-शैली के प्रति जागरूक करता है, जिससे जीवन के प्रति सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण उत्पन्न होता है। साथ ही, इससे न केवल शांतिप्रिय जीवन पद्धति को बढ़ावा मिलता है, बल्कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण और प्रकृति के साथ मानवतापूर्ण संबंध स्थापित करने का संदेश भी प्राप्त होता है। भारत ने योग को हमेशा से सीमा, संस्कृति और भाषा से ऊपर रखा है। इसे यदि सही तरीके से समझा जाए और नियमित अभ्यास किया जाए, तो कई समस्याओं का समाधान निकाला जा सकता है। ‘योग’ शब्द की उत्पत्ति संस्कृत के ‘युज्’ शब्द से हुई है, जिसका तात्पर्य जोड़ना एवं एकीकरण करने से है। आध्यात्मिक स्तर पर जुड़ने का अर्थ है, आत्मा का सार्वभौमिक चेतना से मिलन और व्यावहारिक स्तर पर योग को शरीर, मन और भावनाओं को संतुलित करने तथा सामंजस्य बनाए रखने का एक साधन माना जाता है। * ^ 2/5/1 2
