उत्तर- अब्बा ने यह सोचकर आरिफ़ की बात मान ली कि रोज सभी इन बच्चों पर हुक्म चलाते हैं। क्यों न एक दिन के लिए ये हक़ इन्हें भी दे दिया जाए।
प्रश्न 2. वह एक दिन बहुत अनोखा था जब बच्चों को बड़ों के अधिकार मिल गए थे। वह दिन बीत जाने के बाद इन्होंने क्या सोचा होगा-
*आरिफ़ ने , *अम्मा ने , *दादी ने
उत्तर- * आरिफ़ ने सोचा होगा कि यह दिन कितना आनंददायक था। काश ऐसा दिन रोज़ आए।
- <u>अम्मा</u> ने सोचा होगा कि बच्चों को थोड़ी- बहुत आज़ादी जरूर देनी चाहिए और इनकी भावनाओं को समझना चाहिए।
- <u>दादी</u> ने सोचा होगा कि हम प्रतिदिन इन बच्चों को कितना कष्ट देते हैं।
तुम्हारी बात
प्रश्न 1. अगर तुम्हे घर में एक दिन के लिए सारे अधिकार दे दिए जाएँ तो तुम क्या-क्या करोगी?
उत्तर- अगर हमें घर में एक दिन के लिए सारे अधिकार दे दिए जाएँ तो हम अपने मन की सभी इच्छाओं को पूरा करना चाहेगे जैसे- मनपसंद चीजें बनाकर खाएँगे, खूब खेलेंगे।
प्रश्न 2. कहानी में ऐसे कई काम बताए गए हैं जो बड़े लोग आरिफ और सलीम से करने के लिए कहते थे | तुम्हारे विचार से उनमें से कौन - कौन से काम उन्हें बिना शिकायत किए कर देने चाहिए थे और कौन - कौन से कामों के लिए मना कर देना चाहिए।
उत्तर - आरिफ़ और सलीम को रात में जल्दी सोना है, सुबह जल्दी उठना, धीमी आवाज में गाना, बाहर नहीं जाना,शोर ना करना, खुद नहा लेना, कम घूमना-फिरना आदि काम बिना शिकायत किए कर लेने चाहिए थे। वहीं उन्हें सादा नाश्ता करने, बेकार खाना खाने, बेकार कपड़े पहनने, जैसे कामों के लिए मना कर देना चाहिए था।

“ दोनों घंटो बैठकर इन पाबंदियों से बच निकलने की तरकीबें सोचा करते थे।”
प्रश्न 1. तुम्हारे विचार से वे कौन - कौन सी तरकीबें सोचते होंगे?
उत्तर - 1.काश हमें कोई ऐसी जगह मिल जाए, जहां कोई डांटे नहीं।
- हमें भी बड़ों को डाँटने का अधिकार मिल जाए।
- हम जल्दी से बड़े हो जाए।

उत्तर - उन्होंने बड़ों के सभी अधिकार मांग लिए थे और बड़ों को छोटो की तरह रहने के लिए कहा था, जिससे उनकी इच्छा पूरी हो गई थी।

उत्तर- किसी क्षेत्र, राज्य या देश आदि पर शासन कर पूरा अधिकार जमाना तथा अपनी मनमर्जी करना बादशाहत होती है।
प्रश्न 2. तुम्हारे विचार से इस कहानी का नाम ‘एक दिन का बादशाहत’ क्यों रखा गया है? तुम भी अपने मन से सोचकर कहानी को कोई शीर्षक दो |
उत्तर- आरिफ़ तथा सलीम दोनों को एक दिन के लिए बड़ों के सभी अधिकार दिए गए थे। इसलिए कहानी का नाम ‘एक दिन की बादशाहत’ रखा गया है। कहानी का अन्य शीर्षक “बच्चों का बचपन” भी हो सकता है।
