- इस प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 16 प्रश्न हैं। सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर देना अनिवार्य है।
- इस प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल चार खण्ड हैं – क, ख, ग और घ।
- खण्ड क में अपठित गद्यांश से प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं, जिनके उत्तर दिए गए निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए दीजिए।
- खण्ड ख में व्यावहारिक व्याकरण से प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं, आंतरिक विकल्प भी दिए गए हैं।
- खण्ड ग पाठ्य-पुस्तक पर आधारित है, निर्देशानुसार उत्तर दीजिए।
- खण्ड घ रचनात्मक लेखन पर आधारित है, आंतरिक विकल्प भी दिए गए हैं।

खण्ड क (अपठित बोध)
- निम्नलिखित गद्यांश को ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़कर उस पर आधारित दिए गए प्रश्नों के सर्वाधिक उपयुक्त उत्तर लिखिए:
7 क्रोध दु:ख के चेतन कारण के साक्षात्कार या अनुमान से उत्पन्न होता है। साक्षात्कार के समय दु:ख और उसके कारण के संबंध का परिज्ञान आवश्यक है। तीन-चार महीने के बच्चे को कोई हाथ उठाकर मार दे, तो उसने हाथ उठाते तो देखा है पर उसकी पीड़ा और उस हाथ उठाने से क्या संबंध है, यह वह नहीं जानता है। अतः वह केवल रोकर अपना दु:ख मात्र प्रकट कर देता है। दु:ख के कारण की स्पष्ट धारणा के बिना क्रोध का उदय नहीं होता। दु:ख के सज्ञान कारण पर प्रबल प्रभाव डालने में प्रवृत्त करवाने वाला मनोविकार होने के कारण क्रोध का आविर्भाव बहुत पहले देखा जाता है। शिश् अपनी माता की आकृति से परिचित हो जाने पर ज्यों ही यह जान जाता है कि दूध इसी से मिलता है, भूखा होने पर वह उसे देखते ही अपने रोने में कुछ क्रोध का आभास देने लगता है।
सामाजिक जीवन में क्रोध की ज़रूरत बराबर पड़ती है। यदि क्रोध न हो तो मनुष्य दूसरों के द्वारा पहुँचाए जाने वाले बहुत से कष्टों की चिरनिवृत्ति का उपाय ही न कर सकेगा। समाज में निराशा और अत्याचार का बोलबाला बढ़ जाएगा। कोई मनुष्य किसी दुष्ट के नित्य दो-चार प्रहार सहता है। यदि उसमें क्रोध का विकास नहीं हुआ है तो वह केवल आह-ऊह करेगा, जिसका उस दुष्ट पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं। उस दुष्ट के हृदय में विवेक, दया आदि उत्पन्न करने में बहुत समय लगेगा। संसार किसी को इतना समय ऐसे छोटे-छोटे कामों के लिए नहीं दे सकता।
