(i) प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 16 प्रश्न हैं। सभी प्रश्न अनिवार्य हैं।
- इस प्रश्न-पत्र में चार खंड हैं – ‘क’. ‘ख’. ‘ग’ और ‘घ’।
- खंड-‘क’ में अपठित गद्यांश से प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं, जिनके उत्तर दिए गए निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए दीजिए ।
- 'खंड-‘ख’ में व्यावहारिक व्याकरण से प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं, आंतरिक विकल्प भी दिए गए हैं।
- खंड-‘ग’ पाठ्यपुस्तक पर आधारित है, निर्देशानुसार उत्तर दीजिए।
- खंड-‘घ’ रचनात्मक लेखन पर आधारित है, आंतरिक विकल्प भी दिए गए हैं।
- यथासंभव सभी खंडों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर क्रमशः लिखिए।

1. निम्नलिखित गद्यांश को ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़कर पूछे गए प्रश्नों के उत्तर लिखिए:
7 माता-पिता द्वारा प्रदत्त संस्कार जीवनभर संतान के साथ रहते हैं। वे पालक हैं, पोषक हैं, साथ ही रक्षक भी हैं। घर-परिवार की जिम्मेदारियों को कुशलता से निभाने का दायित्व उनके कंधों पर ही है।
जीवन में अनुशासन रखना कठिन कार्य है, इसमें व्यक्ति को आराम नहीं मिलता। किसी को भी अनुशासित रहना अर्थात् बँधे हुए जीना पसन्द नहीं आता । लेकिन सच्चाई यही है कि बिना अनुशासन के जीवन में संतुलन नहीं रह पाता और हम अपने लक्ष्य से भटक जाते हैं । इस बात को पतंग के उदाहरण से समझ सकते हैं। एक उड़ती हुई पतंग आसमान पर तब तक राज करती है, जब तक वह डोर से बँधी है। कट जाने पर वह अपना अस्तित्व खो देती है। हमारे जीवन में अनुशासन की यह डोर माता-पिता के हाथों में रहती है। वे ही जीवन को अनुशासित करते हैं। जो बच्चे अनुशासित जीवन जीते हैं, वे आगे जाकर सफल व्यक्ति बन जाते हैं।
