1. निम्नलिखित गद्यांश को ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़कर उस पर आधारित प्रश्नों के उत्तर लिखिए :
10 बढ़ती उम्र के साथ हमारे दिमाग का संज्ञानात्मक कौशल, पहचानने और याद रखने की क्षमता मंद पड़ने लगती है। पर यह भी सच है कि हमारे दिमाग में यह क्षमता भी है कि उम्र बढ़ने के साथ वह नया सीख भी सकता है और पुराने सीखे हुए पर अपनी पकड़ बनाए रख सकता है। मेडिकल की भाषा में इसे न्यूरोप्लास्टिसिटी कहते हैं। पर इसके लिए आपको नियमित अभ्यास करना पड़ता है। रचनात्मकता बहुत सारी सूचनाओं के होने से ही नहीं आती। हम तब कुछ रच पाते हैं, जब सूचनाओं को ढंग से समझते हैं और पूर्व ज्ञान से उसे जोड़ पाते हैं। तभी वह हमारे गहन शिक्षण का हिस्सा बन पाती है और लंबे समय तक हम उसे याद रख सकते हैं।
हमारे दिमाग का बड़ा हिस्सा चीज़ों को उनके रेखाचित्र व जगह के तौर पर भी याद रखता है। स्क्रीन पर हम लिखे हुए शब्दों को स्क्रॉल करते हुए आगे बढ़ जाते हैं या कुछ मिनटों बाद ही सोशल मीडिया या दूसरे लिंक्स पर चले जाते हैं, जबिक किताब का बहुआयामी रेखाचित्र और उसमें लिखे शब्द स्थिर होते हैं। मशीनें व्यक्ति को उस तरह प्रेरित नहीं कर पातीं जिस तरह प्यार व हमदर्दी से बने रिश्ते । इसीलिए स्वीडन समेत कई देश परंपरागत पढ़ाई के तौर-तरीकों को आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं । किताबें पढ़ने के बाद हमें अक्सर चीज़ें, चित्र या स्थान विशेष के साथ याद रहती हैं। लंबी याददाश्त के लिए डिजिटल कॉपी की जगह किताब को पढ़ना दिमाग के लिए अधिक बेहतर साबित होगा। समय-समय पर चीज़ों को दोहराएँ। अपने दिमाग को चुनौतियाँ दें। आप दिमाग को जितनी चुनौतियाँ देंगे, वह उतना बेहतर काम करेगा। सकारात्मकता को जीवन का अंग बनाएँ।
