सामान्य निर्देश:
निम्नलिखित निर्देशों को बहुत सावधानी से पढ़िए और उनका अनुपालन कीजिए :
(i) यह प्रश्न-पत्र तीन खंडों में विभाजित है ।
- खंड – क में अपठित बोध पर आधारित प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं। सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर देना अनिवार्य है।
- खंड – ख में पाठ्रयपुस्तक अभिव्यक्ति और माध्यम से प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं । प्रश्नों में आंतरिक विकल्प दिए गए हैं।
- खंड – ग में पाठ्यपुस्तक आरोह तथा वितान से प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं। प्रश्नों में आंतरिक विकल्प दिए गए हैं ।
- तीनों खंडों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर देना अनिवार्य है।
- यथासंभव तीनों खंडों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर क्रमशः लिखिए।

10 संस्कृति और सभ्यता – ये दोनों दो शब्द हैं और उनके अर्थ भी अलग–अलग हैं । सभ्यता मनुष्य का वह गुण है जिससे वह अपनी बाहरी उन्नति करता है। संस्कृति मनुष्य का वह गुण है जिससे वह अपनी भीतरी उन्नति करता है, दया, ममता और परोपकार आदि सीखता है, गीत-नाद, कविता, चित्र और मूर्ति से आनन्द लेने की योग्यता हासिल करता है। एक वह भी समय था जब आदमी को घर बनाना नहीं आता था, जब वह पेड़ की छाया या पहाड़ की खोह में वास करता था; जब खेती करना भी नहीं आता था और वह कन्द-मूल खाकर गुजारा करता था; जब उसे कपड़ा बुनना भी नहीं आता था और वह या तो निर्वस्त्र रहता था या पेड़ों की छाल या जानवरों की खाल
