(i) इस प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 17 प्रश्न हैं । सभी प्रश्न अनिवार्य हैं ।
- इस प्रश्न-पत्र में दो खण्ड हैं – खण्ड अ और खण्ड ब । खण्ड अ में बह्विकल्पी/वस्तुपरक और खण्ड ब में वर्णनात्मक प्रश्न दिए गए हैं।
- खण्ड अ में कुल 10 प्रश्न हैं, जिनमें उपप्रश्नों की संख्या 49 है। दिए गए निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए 40 उपप्रश्नों के उत्तर देना अनिवार्य है।
- खण्ड ब में कुल 7 प्रश्न हैं। सभी प्रश्नों के साथ उनके विकल्प भी दिए गए हैं। निर्देशानुसार विकल्प का ध्यान रखते हुए सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर लिखिए।
- प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए गए निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए लिखिए।
- यथासंभव सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर क्रमानुसार ही लिखिए।

समाचार-पत्रों में भ्रष्टाचार के प्रति जो इतना आक्रोश है, वह यही प्रमाणित करता है कि हम ऐसी चीज़ों को ग़लत मानते हैं और समाज के उन तत्त्वों की प्रतिष्ठा कम करना चाहते हैं, जो ग़लत तरीके से धन या मान संग्रह करते हैं। दोषों का पर्दाफ़ाश करना बुरी बात नहीं है। बुराई यह मालूम होती है कि किसी के आचरण के ग़लत पक्ष को प्रकट करते समय उसमें रस लिया जाता है और दोष उद्घाटन करना ही एकमात्र कर्तव्य मान लिया जाता है। बुराई में आनंद लेना बुरी बात है, अच्छाई को उतना ही आनंद लेकर प्रकट न करना और भी बुरी बात है। सैकड़ों घटनाएँ ऐसी घटती हैं जिन्हें उजागर करने से लोगों के हृदय में अच्छाई के प्रति अच्छी भावना जगती है।
एक बार रेलवे स्टेशन पर टिकट लेते हुए ग़लती से मैंने दस के बजाय सौ रुपए का नोट दिया और मैं जल्दी-जल्दी गाड़ी में आकर बैठ गया। थोड़ी देर में टिकट बाबू उन दिनों के सेकंड क्लास के डिब्बे में हर आदमी का चेहरा पहचानता हुआ उपस्थित हुआ। उसने मुझे पहचान लिया और बड़ी विनम्रता के साथ मेरे हाथ में नब्बे रुपए रख दिए और बोला, "यह बहुत बड़ी ग़लती हो गई थी। आपने भी नहीं देखा, मैंने भी नहीं देखा।” उसके चेहरे पर विचित्र संतोष की गरिमा थी। मैं चिकत रह गया।
