  1. दोनों खण्डों के सभी प्रश्न अनिवार्य हैं।
  2. प्रत्येक प्रश्न के निर्धारित अंक उसके सामने दिए गए हैं।
  3. प्रश्न संख्या 1 – 3 तथा 15 – 19 अति लघूत्तरात्मक प्रश्न हैं, जिनमें प्रत्येक का 1 अंक है। इनका प्रत्येक का उत्तर एक वाक्य में ही अपेक्षित है।
  4. प्रश्न संख्या 4 – 8 और 20 – 22 लघूत्तरात्मक प्रश्न हैं, जिनमें प्रत्येक के 3 अंक हैं। प्रत्येक का उत्तर सामान्यतः 60 शब्दों से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए।
  5. प्रश्न संख्या 9 – 10 और 23 – 25 भी लघूत्तरात्मक प्रश्न हैं, जिनमें प्रत्येक के 4 अंक हैं। प्रत्येक का उत्तर सामान्यतः 70 शब्दों से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए।
  6. प्रश्न संख्या 11 – 14 और 26 – 29 दीर्घ उत्तरात्मक प्रश्न हैं, जिनमें प्रत्येक के 6 अंक हैं। प्रत्येक का उत्तर सामान्यतः 100 शब्दों से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए।
  7. उत्तर संक्षिप्त तथा तथ्यात्मक होने चाहिए तथा यथासंभव ऊपर दी गई शब्द सीमा के अंतर्गत ही दिए जाने चाहिए ।

General Instructions:

  1. All questions in both the sections are compulsory.
  2. Marks for questions are indicated against each question.
  3. Questions No. 1 – 3 and 15 – 19 are very short-answer questions carrying 1 mark each. They are required to be answered in one sentence each.
  4. Questions No. 4-8 and 20-22 are short-answer questions carrying 3 marks each. Answers to them should normally not exceed 60 words each.
  5. Questions No. 9 - 10 and 23 - 25 are also short-answer questions carrying 4 marks each. Answers to them should normally not exceed 70 words each.
  6. Questions No. 11 - 14 and 26 - 29 are long-answer questions carrying 6 marks each. Answers to them should normally not exceed 100 words each.
  7. Answers should be brief and to the point and the above word limits should be adhered to as far as possible.
