निम्नलिखित निर्देशों को ध्यान से पिंढ्ए और उनका सख़्ती से पालन कीजिए :
(i) यह प्रश्न-पत्र चार खण्डों में विभाजित किया गया है – खण्ड क, ख, ग तथा घ।
- इस प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 35 प्रश्न हैं। सभी प्रश्न अनिवार्य हैं।
- खण्ड क में प्रश्न संख्या <math>\bm{1} - \bm{16}</math> हैं। ये वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार के प्रश्न हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के लिए 1 अंक निर्धारित है। प्रश्न के आधार पर, सिर्फ एक ही उत्तर हो सकता है।
- खण्ड ख में प्रश्न संख्या <math>\bm{17} - \bm{25}</math> हैं। ये अति लघु-उत्तरीय प्रकार के प्रश्न हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के लिए 2 अंक निर्धारित हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न का उत्तर अधिकतम 30 शब्दों में दीजिए।
- खण्ड <math>\bm{\eta}</math> में प्रश्न संख्या <math>\bm{26} = \bm{32}</math> हैं। ये लघु-उत्तरीय प्रकार के प्रश्न हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के लिए <math>\bm{4}</math> अंक निर्धारित हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न का उत्तर अधिकतम 80 शब्दों में दीजिए।
- खण्ड घ में प्रश्न संख्या 33 – 35 हैं। ये दीर्घ-उत्तरीय प्रकार के प्रश्न हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के लिए 6 अंक निर्धारित हैं। प्रत्येक प्रश्न का उत्तर अधिकतम 200 शब्दों में दीजिए।
- रेखाचित्र की सहायता से प्रश्न संख्या 33 का उत्तर दीजिए।

- अभिकथन (A): औद्योगीकरण कुछ एक स्थानों पर जबरदस्त समानता लाता है। उदाहरण के लिए
रेलगाडियों, बसों में जातीय भेदभाव का ना होना।
कारण (R): इस संसार में सामाजिक असमानताएँ कम हो रही हैं।
