- Two finite sets have m and n elements. The total number of subsets of the first set is 56 more than the total number of subsets of the second set. Find the values of 'm' and 'n'. (1)
- Write the contra positive and converse of the following statement: 'Something is cold implies that it has low temperature'. (1)
- A point R with x-coordinate 4 lies on the line segment joining the points <math>P(2,-3,4)</math> and <math>Q(8,0,10)</math>. Find the coordinates of the point R. (1)
- Find the real numbers x and y if (x-iy) <math>(3+5i)</math> is the conjugate of -6 -24i. (1)

- For any sets A and B, show that <math>P(A \cap B) = P(A) \cap P(B)</math>.
